1. Read the diary.

The witcher had made his way to the infamous ruins of the Old Amphitheatre, where - no surprise - he found the mortal remains of a young woman. Alongside them he found her beautifully scented diary.

2. Find a way to reenact the scene using your Witcher Senses.

The ambitious would-be artiste had come here to reenact a scene performed at this very theatre by the erstwhile queen of its stage. Something had gone wrong…Geralt, no stranger to the art of mummery, decided to reenact the scene as well.

Use your witcher senses and examine the footprints next to the body.

3. Figure out the order in which you should light the candles.

You need to backtrack along woman's prints, then light the candles in the same order she did.

4. Finish the scene by drinking wine.

Equip and drink the wine you have found in woman's body - "Vis la Crac" Wine.

5. Defeat the wraith that has appeared.

Defeat Phantom of the Amphitheater.

6. Search the wraith's remains.

The witcher played his role his role as the script said he must and put much heart into the performance. Yet at this ruined venue he expected no applause. And a good thing, too, because the sole spectator was a phantom, who Geralt promptly dispatched with his silver sword!

In the body you will find Ornate necklace with a key-shaped pendant, it's some kind of a key.

7. Find the hidden coffer.

You can now open the metal grille and enter the small room. Inside, on the bench, you will find the treasure chest.

8. Quest completed.

Then as was his wont, he ferreted a bit. He found a secret nook in the prompter's box and inside the nook a not insignificant prize!
