What Lies Unseen Main Story, Blood and Wine Quest

1. Go to the Unseen Elder's lair.

Geralt now knew how to find the Unseen Elder's lair. He went to fetch Regis, and together they set off to meet the ancient bloodsucker. I can only imagine how difficult a Regis' predicament was. After all, he was about to help his dear friend set a deadly trap for another of his close comrades...

Use the boat, it will be the fastest way to get there.

2. Open the entrance to the Unseen Elder's lair using Orianna's key.

3. Enter the Unseen Elder's lair.

Follow the tunnels, in the end you will get to his hideout. No matter what you say, Unseen Elder will be very angry at you.

4. Find a healing potion.

Regis had expressed some concerns about meeting with the Unseen Elder. These proved not at all unfounded nor in any way exaggerated. To say the ancient vampire treated his guests impolitely would be a gross understatement. In a matter of moments, the Unseen paralyzed Regis, while he took Geralt and, much as if he were a rag doll, hurled him to the floor of the cave. The witcher was hurt rather badly. Yet somehow he needed to find an understanding with the vampire...

The bottle should be somewhere nearby.

5. Drink Swallow to regenerate Vitality.

6. Get out of the cave.

Go to a large cavern with a bonfire and waterfalls.

7. Find a way to appease the Unseen Elder.

8. Explore the cave and find a way out.

Check the bag lying next to the fire. Inside you will find Mage's notes.

9. Read the notes you found.

10. Find the mage.

Follow mage's footsteps. On your way you will have to kill two never seen before vampires.

11. Find a way to get to the exit.

One more Mage's notes.

Come to the water.

Then follow the mage's footsteps again.

12. Search the body.

You have to kill the vampire guarding the body first. In the body you will find one more mage's note - Crumpled letter.

13. Read the mage's notes.

14. Find an offering for the Unseen Elder.

15. Find a way to get to the exit.

Jump and climb up a bit more.

16. Destroy the wall using the Aard Sign.

17. Jump into the water.

18. Reach the platform and get out of the cave.

19. Talk to the Unseen Elder.

He will be a little more talkative this time :-)

20. Quest completed.

The Unseen's ghastly reputation proved entirely deserved. He had exactly no tolerance for unexpected guests. And he was mortal danger embodied. In the end Geralt managed to convince the creature to help him, but persuading the beast had almost cost the witcher his life. I have no doubt the witcher breathed a sigh of relief after their meeting, and drew comfort from the thought it would not be the Unseen he would face during the final confrontation at Tesham Mutna.
