To start this quest enter the Cambridge Polymer Labs, talk to Molly, start your application and then follow her. Quest will start when you get locked in the clean room / laboratory area.

Stages of "Cambridge Polymer Labs" quest
1. Complete the reseach project
Find four Unidentified Samples and use Polymer Coating Applicator to identify them. To do it, place them into Chemical Reagent and use terminal option Scan Loaded Reagents.
Use Isotope Containment Terminal in block C5 to open the doors to the room with U-238, take it and place into Isotope Sample slot.
Use terminal option Check Current Fabrication Parameters to check for proper reagents, place them and then select Run Loaded Fabrication Routine.
At the end you will receive Piezonucleic Power Armor Chest. Take it, go back to the first room and talk to Molly, she will open the doors.
1.1. (Optional) Find another way to escape the laboratory
Find and use Bergman's Terminal (it's inside locked room on the upper floor) and select Emergency Override - Facility Breached.
Kill Molly and grab the CPL Director's Key - it's a key to the Director's Room, there is a magazine inside that room - Massachusetts Surgical Journal.
2. Follow Molly to speak with Director
She will open the master-locked door to the office. Director is aggresive so you have to kill him.
